Evil Clocks

The album title was inspired by a story my then 10 year old son wrote called "Wii are in the time of Evil Clocks". It was about a wii game controller and an evil clock. They battled, the clock was defeated, and for some obscure reason the controller got a job at Wal-Mart where he worked until the end of his days. We liked the title (and of course made wii a we) and decided to use the evocative qualities of it to write a series of loosely related songs vaguely suggesting some dystopian evil future.

Discoverie 1&2 stream

Discoverie 1&2 download

The first two pieces of our epic suite, "The Discoverie of Witchcraft". These two serve as a perfect example for the rest of the suite as they vary from the highly aggressive 12-tone riffing in part 1 to a very tonal introspective nocturne in part 2. The rest of the suite alternates between these two extremes with the themes developed in part 2 returning again in various forms. The other parts, while introducing new themes, are all pretty much as atonal and angular as part 1.

Klak stream

A piece that showcases Aaron and Ange, with lyrics written by our good Progressive Ears friend, Geordie Robertson. Go to the works link on the left to read the lyrics (right click "open in new window" will let the stream continue).

All tracks from "We Are in the Time of Evil Clocks" are available to preview in their entirety through the 10T Records website:
