Alain Bergeron
Alain has been playing drums since he was a kid growing up in Abitibi.
His indominatable spirit and passion for music lead him to the drums at
an early age and by the time he was in high-school he was doing weekend gigs with many bands.
As well as being a natural at the kit he also started playing piano in his teens.
By the time he was in his twenties he was working in his own studio in Toronto playing a multitude of instruments.
After a chance meeting with Guy Leblanc in Ottawa, the two began to work together and eventually Alain joined Guy's band, Nathan Mahl, first as a drummer
, then as a pianist. They performed at Nearfest in 2002 where they blew the roof of the place and raised Nathan Mahl's profile considerably.
In 2004 Alain joined The Rebel Wheel and for 18 months contributed drums, vocals keyboards and percussion to their live gigs as well as their debut CD with 10T records
"Diagramma". In the fall of 2005 he left Rebel Wheel and went back to Nathan Mahl. Shortly afterwards he recommeded David for the guitar position and in the fall of 2008
David also became a member. Since then Nathan Mahl and The Rebel Wheel have seen a fairly steady exchange of players and are still in the process of working out new ensembles and material.
In the fall of 2009 Alain moved to Quebec city where he is working on his solo project, "Progzy".
